About the Author:
Ashley and her husband, Jon, founded Overcomers, a ministry helping those who struggle with eating disorders. They also founded Isaiah Ministries, a place to be taught and mentored in the Word of God. Ashley’s desire for both ministries and this book is to bring people to the heart of God and for the broken to be restored.
Ashley has a background in working with special needs children, at-risk youth, eating disorders, mental illness, and the incarcerated. She has been speaking about her life and various Christian subject matters since 2017 at camps, conferences, small groups, and in jails. Ashley’s heart is on fire for the hurt and lost because she herself was once broken. Overcoming her own struggles with depression, suicidal thoughts, and an eating disorder has opened the door to help others who struggle in these areas.
Ashley is your next-door-neighbor type of girl who loves: Coffee. Rainbows. Her husband. Thunderstorms. Doggies. Laughing. Jesus (of course). Journaling. Her Bible. Being outdoors, in the good Midwest, where she and her hubby reside. In a nutshell . . . she loves to love. Her deepest passion is for people to know Jesus, to really, really know Him.
